Lucent is a conceptual brand film I created for the 2025 Filmsupply Editfest. Using a fictitious Australian candle company, I brought it to life through sight and sound. I wanted to explore how scent and light can awaken memory, and how something as simple as a flicker of a flame can feel deeply personal.
I edited the piece in DaVinci Resolve, using warm LUTs, ambient music, and layered sound design to build that nostalgic atmosphere. Subtle touches such as quiet chatter, soft wooshes, and environmental sounds help immerse viewers in the feeling of handmade craftsmanship.
